A weekend of welcomes and wondering

The Through the Seasons Before Us blogger was in attendance at the weekend as fans welcomed our new owners to the City Ground and pleasingly reports on their eagerness to meet supporters outside the ground.

For those who haven’t already heard it, Seat Pitch have helpfully transcribed the press conference and in a guest post for them Pissing Red added some unhelpful speculation (and some very sound points) about the hiring of the new manager.

On his own blog, Pissing Red, known to dabble in poetry before, has been getting Shakespearian on us.

So far everyone seems duly impressed with the Al-Hasawis – they come across as optimistic, yet pragmatic, ambitious, but not rash. Of course, opinions might not be so uniform later on in the week when we find out who our new manager is going to be…
