- Last night’s League Cup win over Hartlepool United saw a ‘tidy performance’ from Forest in the view of one reporter, but Billy ‘certainly wasn’t pleased’ with some sloppy defending late on.
Nevertheless, Forest won praise from both manager Colin Cooper and player Christian Burgess in the Hartlepool local press.

- The Scotsman reports that Kelvin Wilson will finalise his return to Forest tonight after representing Celtic in a Champions League match. The price seems to have been agreed at £2.5 million. Wilson’s manager Neil Lennon believes Wilson’s family ties with Nottingham are drawing him back.
